Planning Instructions

Use the following checklist to help you plan your iPrint installation:

• If you have not already done so, print the PDF version of the "NNLS Planning Worksheet" located in the Novell Nterprise Linux Services Installation Guide.
• iPrint has no additional RAM requirements.
• Most iPrint installations (even in large enterprises) do not require additional disk space for associated print job spooling.

  However, if you anticipate very heavy print usage and want to plan for additional disk space in that regard, the iPrint spooler area is located in the /var partition or directory structure.

  If desired, you can record the additional disk space required in the "Server Hardware Requirements" section of the "NNLS Planning Worksheet" you printed in Step 1.

• To finish planning your iPrint installation, complete the "iPrint" section in the "NNLS Planning Worksheet" (Novell Nterprise Linux Services Installation Guide).
