Prerequisites

Before you can install, set up, or manage printers on your server, you must copy the iPrint files to the server. You can do this during the NetWare installation by doing one of the following:

• Select iPrint as a component of the Customized NetWare pattern
• Select one of the Small Business Suite Server preconfigured server options
• Select the iPrint server option
• Install iPrint as a product after the NetWare installation is complete

If you chose to install iPrint, Novell^® Small Business Suite provides a setup tool in iManager to help set up and manage printing services quickly rather than using the iPrint role in Novell iManager. Using this tool, you can specify the setup requirements, and then the setup tool modifies all the required files to set up printing. However, you can use either tool.
