The passwords for the Novell eDirectory™ ArkManager administrator user and the MySQL database administrator user are passed to ArkManager in the sys:\arkManager\arkConfig.xml file the first time ArkManager runs as part of the basic server information. Thereafter, if you modify the password for the ArkManager administrator user in eDirectory or the password for the database administrator user in MySQL, you must pass the new password to ArkManager by adding them again to the arkConfig.xml file.
