3.8 Enabling iPrint on Existing Printers

When you create new printers with Novell iManager, iPrint is enabled by default. If you want to enable iPrint on existing printers, complete the following steps.

If you have a large number of printers that you want to enable iPrint on, use this iManager task to quickly enable iPrint.

  1. In Novell iManager, click iPrint > Enable iPrint Support.

  2. Browse to and select the Print Manager you want to enable IPP printing on.

  3. To enable all printers associated with this Print Manager, select the first check box next to Enabled.

    To select printers individually, select the check box next to each printer in the Enabled column.

  4. (Optional) To enable all printers associated with this Print Manager to use Secure printing, select the first check box next to Secure.

    To select secure printers for specific printers, select the check box next to each printer in the Secure column.

  5. To update the printer settings, click Apply or OK.
