This feature extends the existing Default Gateway (Default Router) feature by allowing you to configure multiple default gateways on your network. When a default gateway goes offline, the Dead Gateway Detection feature detects this and uses the Multiple Default Gateway list to switch to the next preferred default gateway, making your network fault tolerant.
