With NetWare^® 6, the server license is contained in the A:\LICENSE directory of each license diskette. This is an .NLF file and is accompanied by a NICI key.NFK file. User licenses are stored in the root directory of each of these diskette. User license files are also .NLF files but do not have an accompanying NICI key. This arrangement, separation of server and user licenses, allows the server license to be installed during the server installation process without installing the User licenses, which are installed using Novell^® iManager.
