With NetWare® 6 Support Pack 1, NetWare Remote Manager includes a new feature that lets you view a summary of disk space usage for an entire volume. You access this feature via the Disk Space Usage button on the Volume Information page.
This feature currently has a known limitation. That is, if the volume being scanned contains directories more than 17 levels deep from the root, the scan operation fails and a buffer overrun occurs. When NetWare recovers from this abend by suspending the thread (httpexpThreadx, owned by HTTPSTK.NLM), the Server Health light turns yellow. (Abend Thread count moves from 0 to 1.)
To clear the suspended thread, restart the server.
This limitation will be addressed in the next NetWare 6 Support Pack. In the meantime, an interim fix will be made available.
