This section describes how to install Dynamic Storage Technology on a Novell Open Enterprise Server (OES) 11 SP3 server. You can install DST during or after an OES 11 SP3 installation. Before you install DST, ensure that you understand the requirements and guidelines for using DST as described in Section 3.0, Planning Your Dynamic Storage Technology Server Environment.
IMPORTANT:After you install DST, you must configure the DST global policies as described in Section 7.0, Configuring DST Global Policies.
