iPrint for OES along with Novell iPrint offers a single, scalable solution for managing all of your printing across multiple office locations from any device. It allows users to print from their smartphones, tablets, and any email-enabled devices. It lets users print quickly, easily, and more securely.

Key Features

  • Mobile Device Printing: Users of iOS, Android, and Windows mobile devices can download the Micro Focus iPrint app from their respective mobile stores. The iPrint app allows you to print from the mobile devices directly to the printers in your organization..
  • WalkUp Printing: Allows users to put print jobs on hold and releases them to a desired printer. WalkUp provides flexibility to print from any printer, simplfied user printing, enhanced security, and saves paper.
  • Email Printing: Users can print from any email-enabled device by sending an email to iPrint. You can set up a single email address for the organization's printing, or one for each printer.

Prerequisites

  • Open Enterprise Server 2015 SP1 (OES 2015 SP1)
  • Novell iPrint is installed and configured on OES 2015 SP1 server
  • OES 2015 SP1 must be patched with "iPrint for OES - Enabler Patch"

Downloading the iPrint for OES Software

  1. On the iPrint for OES page, click the Download button next to the following files:

    iPrint-for-OES-x86_64-Media.iso

    iPrint for OES software. Use this software to install and manage advanced desktop and mobile features.

    License file for mobile
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts to download the file to a temporary directory on a server where your virtualization software is running.
  3. Download and extract the license file. This file is used to update the product license. By default, iPrint ships with a 60-day evaluation license. For more information, see License in the iPrint for OES Administration Guide.
