The Novell® Server Consolidation Utility 3.0 helps you consolidate data from several servers onto fewer servers, so you have fewer servers to manage.

IMPORTANT: If you have compressed files and you are planning to use the Server Consolidation Utility to copy these files to an NSS volume on a server running NetWare 6.5 Support Pack 1, you must first apply NetWare 6.5 Support Pack 1.1 or later. This support pack fixes an issue with the compression code in the NSS file system that causes compressed files to become corrupted when copied to a NetWare 6.5 SP1 server via the SMS APIs. Failure to apply this support pack will result in data loss during the migration! For additional information, see TID #2967905 in the Novell Knowledgebase (http:support.novell.com/search/kb_index.jsp).
