Enabling IBM Personal Communications for Single Sign-On

  1. Run Terminal Launcher, then click Edit Available Emulators.

  2. Click New.

  3. Enter a name for the emulator, select HLLAPI as the emulator type, then click OK.

    IBM Personal Communications 4.2 is the recommended name.

  4. Configure the emulator:

  5. Click OK > Done.

  6. Double-click IBM Personal Communications in the Available Applications list, select IBM Personal Communications from the Emulator drop-down list, then click OK.

  7. Enter login data.

    The first time that the script is run, SecureLogin prompts the user to enter a username and password.

    Enter the Username.
    Enter the Password.
    Click OK.

    The emulator launches, the username and password are automatically entered, and the user is logged in to the session.
