SUSE® Linux Enterprise Desktop 11 Service Pack 3 is available for download for each available platform as two DVD ISO images. DVD1 contains the binary packages, DVD2 the source code:

  1. Download the ISO images to a workstation or to a network drive.

    Important: The SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 11 Service Pack 3 product ISO images can be written on any DVD disk. The product ISO images fit on a single layer DVD media. The SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 11 Service Pack 3 source ISO images however require to be written on a Blueray DVD due to their size which exceeds a DVD capacity.

  2. Create DVDs from the ISO images (This step is optional: if you are working within a virtualized environment, you most probably will only need the images).

Important: Create the DVDs using the contents of the ISO images. Do not create the DVDs by burning the .iso files themselves (i.e. as a single "track") to DVD. Instead always choose "burn image", "burn ISO", "write premastered image", ... or similar.

For example, if you're using Gnome, right click on the ISO file and select "Open with CD/DVD Creator", then click Write.
