If you are upgrading your Storage Manager 3.x for Active Directory environment to Storage Manager 5.0 for Active Directory:
Proceed with Section 2.0, Licensing the Product.
Follow the procedures in Section 3.0, Installing and Configuring an SQL Server Instance to install an SQL Server instance that Storage Manager supports.
Complete the upgrade by following the procedures in Section 4.0, Migrating from Storage Manager 3.1.1 for Active Directory.
If you are doing any of the following:
Performing an upgrade from Storage Manager 4.x for Active Directory to Storage Manager 5.0 for Active Directory
Performing a new installation of Storage Manager 5.0 for Active Directory
Proceed with Section 2.0, Licensing the Product.
Follow the procedures in Section 3.0, Installing and Configuring an SQL Server Instance to install an SQL Server instance that Storage Manager supports.
Complete the installation by following the procedures in Section 6.0, Installing Storage Manager 5.0 for Active Directory.
