4.5 Enabling User ID Auto-Completion for the Login Dialog Box

You can enable auto-completion for the User ID field in the login dialog box for your OpenText Vibe site. When you enable auto-completion, each user in your Vibe site can start typing his or her user ID and then select it from a drop-down list when it appears.

To enable auto-completion for your Vibe site:

  1. Change to the following directory:

    Linux:

    		 
    /opt/novell/teaming/apache-tomcat/
                           webapps/ssf/WEB-INF/classes/config

    Windows:

    		 
    c:\Program Files\Novell\Teaming\apache-tomcat\
                           webapps\ssf\WEB-INF\classes\config

  2. Open the ssf-ext.properties file in a text editor.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the ssf-ext.properties file, then add the following line:

    enable.login.autocomplete=true

  4. Save and close the ssf-ext.properties file.

  5. Stop and restart Vibe.
