ZENworks Appliance creates the root and zenadmin users by default. You can add any additional users to access the ZENworks Appliance.
To provide users access to the ZENworks Appliance web console, you must add the users to the vaadmin group and then verify the group membership.
On a Linux Appliance, run the following commands:
Add a user to a group: usermod -a -G vaadmin newuser
Verify group membership: groups newuser
NOTE:During the appliance migration process, only the default root and zenadmin user accounts are migrated, the additional users are not migrated. You have to recreate the users in the new appliance version.
