If you have upgraded your environment to ZENworks 2020 Update 3 or a later version from a ZENworks 2020 Update 2 or earlier 2020 version, you must perform the Platform Migration process provided below in order to have the advanced Patch Management features described in the 2020 Update 3 What’s New. Once the migration is complete, patch content will no longer be delivered via bundles, but rather, on-demand as requested by managed devices. Patch Policy bundles, Remediation Deployment bundles, and DAU bundles will still include patch metadata.
NOTE:The procedure below is only applicable to a ZENworks environment that you have upgraded to ZENworks 2020 Update 3 from a ZENworks 2020 Update 2 or earlier 2020 version. If you have deployed ZENworks 2020 Update 3 or a later version from a new installation, there is no need for or option for migrating the Patch Management platform.
