What Ports will be used?

The following section contains information about the various ports used in the ZENworks Service Desk.

The port 80 is redirected to port 443

  • Technician Portal: https://<ZSDServer>/

  • Customer Portal: https://<ZSDServer>/servicedesk

  • Appliance Web Administration Console: https://<ZSDServer>:9443

Ensure that the server allows communication on the designated ports.

To access ZENworks Service Desk application:

  • 80 = HTTP

  • 443 = HTTPS

  • 9443 = Web interface for Appliance administration

To access ZENworks Service Desk database:

  • 1433 = Microsoft SQL

  • 3306 = MySQL

  • 5432 = Oracle

  • 1521 = PostgreSQL

You can change the default port number if you have a conflict. However, you must ensure that the port is opened for the ZENworks Service Desk to talk to the database.
