ZENworks 11 SP3 is available as a virtual appliance that can be deployed to a supported virtual infrastructure. ZENworks Virtual Appliance 11 SP3(ZENworks Appliance) is built on the customized SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 JeOS (SLES 11 SP3), and is preinstalled with the ZENworks 11 Server.
ZENworks Appliance includes a customized version of SLES 11 SP3 that has only the features and capabilities required to deploy and manage ZENworks Appliance. Following are some of the features that have been customized for ZENworks Appliance:
The Software Management and SLES update options have been removed from YaST.
The ZENworks System Update feature has been enhanced to allow you to update ZENworks Appliance.
