Details of the Products Created

For the new source that is configured, the catalog products are created automatically and displayed. In the Catalog Products tab, you can view details such as product name, manufacturer, and licenses per package. The configured source name is appended to the product name. After you click Ok, these details are listed in the Catalog Products list that is available under Asset Management.

The automatically created catalog products list helps you create a purchase order by specifying details of the purchased quantity of the product, without having to manually create catalog products.

For the new source that is configured, the licensed product is created automatically and displayed. In the Licensed Products tab, you can view details such as product name and manufacturer name. The configured source name is appended to the product name.

After you click Ok, this licensed product appears in the Licensed Products list that is available under Asset Management.

For the automatically created licensed products, license entitlements are also created automatically. These license entitlements are mapped to the catalog products that are automatically created for the new source.
