Configured User Source

User-based licensing consumes user information from one of two sources:

Authoritative User Source: This is the LDAP directory (or directories) defined as the User Sources for your Management Zone.
Inventory User Source: This is the inventory data collected from devices via inventory scans.

Only one of these sources can be used. Configured user source refers to the one that is being used.

You define the configured user source on the Configuration tab > Management Zone Settings > Asset Management > User Source.
