The License Consumption - Inventory panel shows a list of the discovered products using this license, along with the following details.
Discovered Product: The name of the discovered product. Click the name to view the discovered product’s details.
Distribution: The product distribution.
License Type: The license type.
Serial Numbers: The product’s serial numbers.
Installed Quantity: The number of installations.
Ignored Installations: The number of installations that have been excluded from the discovered product’s installation total. This is a manual adjustment that you can make if there are installations you don’t want included in the net consumption.
Additional Consumption: The number of extra installations that have been added. This is a manual adjustment that you can make if there are installations that were not found by Inventory scans that you want included in the net consumption.
Net Consumption: The total number of installations for the discovered product. The net consumption is determined by the following formula:
Net Consumption = (Installed Quantity + Additional Consumption) - Ignored Installations.
Click the consumption number to view the discovered product’s Installations/Consumptions page. This page provides details for the installation and consumption data. You can use the page to ignore installations and specify additional consumption.
Active Usage Quantity: The number of devices on which the product has seen active usage over a specified time period. To change the time period, click
