Licensed Product Fields

The Licensed Product Fields page lets you create and manage custom fields for licensed products. The custom fields automatically appear on all licensed products’ General page. They are also included in the Create New Licensed Product Wizard so that you can define the information when creating licensed products.

Name: The field label.
Data Type: The data type: Character, Integer, Decimal, or Date.
Size: The number of alphanumeric characters. This applies only to character-type fields.
Edit Type: Specifies the edit method for the field. The values are Edit, List, and Combo.
Default Value: The value used to initially populate the field.
Internal Name: The field’s internal ID.

Task	Steps	Additional Details
Create a field	Click New. Follow the on-screen prompts. Click the Help button if you need additional information.	As soon as a field is added to the Licensed Product Fields list, the field appears on all licensed products’ General page and in the Create New Licensed Product Wizard.
Edit a field’s information	Click the field name to display the Field Details page. Modify the fields as desired. Click Help on the Field Details page for information about each of the fields. Click OK to save your changes.
Delete a field	Select the check box next to the field. Click Delete, then click OK to confirm the deletion.
