New Open Enterprise Server Source Configuration

Source Name: For identification, provide a name for the new eDirectory source of OES for which you want to configure and track license compliance.

Server Address: Specify the IP address of the remote eDirectory source of OES for which you want to track license compliance.

Port: Specify the port on which you need to query the OES user details. For example, 389 (for normal connection) and 636 (for secure connection).

Context: Specify the eDirectory object or the LDAP object through which you need to query the OES user details.

Server Credentials: You can either add a new eDirectory login credential or browse and select an existing eDirectory login credential. For details on adding a credential, see Add Credential.

Create catalog products, licensed products and entitlements automatically: Select this check box to automatically create the catalog products, licensed products and entitlements for the configured licensed information source.

Verify Connection: Click this button to verify that the connection to the specified remote eDirectory source of OES is possible. When the connection is successful, the Connected to remote server message is displayed. To click OK and proceed, you need to verify the connection.
