E-Mail and Dotted Name Login Support

If you want, you can allow users to log in to the network through the ZENworks Middle Tier Server using the same syntax they might be accustomed to when sending e-mail, or you might want them to log in with a more fully-qualified or perhaps a more simplified name that matches your authentication scheme.

Although ZENworks 6.5 Desktop Management does not enable e-mail or dotted name logins by default (because of the complex process used by the Middle Tier Server to find the user and because of the network traffic this process might generate), both login methods can be used for authentication when using the Desktop Management Agent.
