The Novell® ZENworks® Server Management server management SNMP agents run on Novell NetWare® and Windows* servers in your network. The agents monitor servers, collecting historical data and dynamic data in response to requests from Novell ConsoleOne®. An administrator at the Novell ZENworks Server Management Novell ConsoleOne can request data simply by clicking a representative icon for any device, operating system, or service discovered on a server.
After the Management Agent for NetWare and the Management Agent for Windows have been installed on your network NetWare and Windows servers, they are ready to operate with the default settings. In most cases, this configuration is sufficient; however, you can customize the agent settings to enhance management functionality.
