Meeting iManager Requirements

Before you can install the Policy and Distribution Services plug-in to iManager, you must have iManager 1.5.1 installed. For instructions, see IMANAGER.PDF in one of the following locations:

• On the ZENworks for Servers Companion CD:

  IMANAGER\DOCUMENTATION\ENGLISH\IMANAGER

• On the ZENworks 6 Companion 1 CD:

  ZENWORKSFORSERVERS\IMANAGER\DOCUMENTATION\ENGLISH\IMANAGER

In addition, any Windows* workstations where you plan to use iManager must meet the following requirements:

• Internet Explorer 5.5 or above

  For installation information, see Installing Internet Explorer 5.5 or Above.

• Automatic character encoding for creating and displaying extended characters in Novell eDirectory^TM object names

  In Internet Explorer, click View > Encoding > Auto-Select.

When your system meets the above requirements, continue with Installing the Policy and Distribution Services Plug-In to iManager.
