1087: Unable to detect the operating system of the workstation where installation program is running

Source:  ZENworks for Servers; Server Inventory installation on Windows NT/2000 servers

Severity:  Critical

Explanation:  The ZfS 3 installation program is unable to detect the operating system of the workstation where the installation program is running.

Action:  Make sure you are using a workstation that meets the requirements listed in Installation Workstation Requirements.

Action:  Reinstall ZfS 3 Server Inventory. See Reinstalling Server Inventory on NetWare and Windows Servers.

Action:  If the problem persists, contact Novell Technical Services.
