Installing and Setting Up E-mail
In Novell® Small Business Suite 6.6, we have integrated the GroupWise® and Messenger 6.5 installation with the NetWare® installation so that you can easily set up e-mail on the same server where you install NetWare. During installation of the Small Business Suite, you have four alternatives for installing the GroupWise and Messenger files:
- Select Preconfigured Servers, then use the Novell Small Business Collaboration Server option to set up a Small Business server specifically for GroupWise and Messenger.
- Select Preconfigured Servers, then use the Novell Small Business Collaboration Server with Virtual Office option to set up a Small Business server that includes Virtual Office along with GroupWise and Messenger along.
- Select Customized NetWare Server, then use the GroupWise and Messenger File Copy option to include the GroupWise and Messenger files on your Small Business server along with whatever other products you choose to install.
- Install any Small Business server, then do a post-installation to add GroupWise and Messenger to the existing Small Business server.
After you have run the Small Business installation, there are additional tasks to perform in order to set up your initial GroupWise system and to manage it over time. You can use Novell iManager to set up your initial GroupWise system. Thereafter, you will use ConsoleOne® to manage your GroupWise system.
