When you convert a business continuity cluster from NetWare to Linux, the tasks are similar to those you have performed before, but the sequence is different. Make sure you understand the process before you begin.
First, you convert all nodes in the business continuity cluster from NetWare to Linux. Convert the nodes one node at a time for only one peer cluster at a time. Do not finalize the cluster conversion for the peer cluster at this time. Repeat the NetWare-to-Linux conversion of the nodes for each peer cluster so that all of the nodes in every peer cluster are running Linux, but none of the cluster conversions have been finalized. For step-by-step procedures, see Section 7.3, Converting Clusters from NetWare to Linux.
After each node in every peer cluster is running Linux, you must delete and re-create all instances of the BCC drivers for Identity Manager in each of the peer clusters. For step-by-step procedures, see Section 7.4, Deleting and Re-Creating the BCC Identity Manager Drivers.
After all nodes are running Linux and the BCC drivers have been re-created, you are ready to finalize the BCC cluster conversion. Finalize the conversion on one peer cluster at a time. For step-by-step procedures, see Section 7.5, Finalizing the BCC Cluster Conversion.
