Customizing the Novell Login Dialog Box

The Novell Login dialog box can be customized to control the availability of certain login options. This gives you control over how users log in.

HINT:  You can also customize the Novell Login dialog box for multiple workstations using the Novell Client Configuration policy created in the Workstation Configuration policy package in ConsoleOne (ZENworks for Desktops 3) or NetWare Administrator (ZENworks for Desktops 2).

To show or hide any login dialog box options, complete the following steps:

  1. Right-click the N icon in the system tray and then click Novell Client Properties > Location Profiles to open the Novell Client property pages.

  2. Click Advanced Login.

  3. In the Show On Login section of the Advanced Login property page, check the check boxes for the items that you want to appear and uncheck those that you do not want to appear.
