Novell, Kyocera and NetIQ have joined forces to present Achievable Secure Enterprise Mobility Solutions

Dusseldorf, Germany | August 20, 2013

Established enterprise IT leaders have joined together and created The Mobile Life Tour to demonstrate to the market that reliable enterprise data security is still achievable.

“Following the recent developments in the area of enterprise email and file security, there has been a growing level of disquiet in the market. We feel it is important that established IT infrastructure vendors proactively support organisations in delivering reliable security for their enterprise IT, in particular around mobility,” stated Dirk Schmidt, Vice President and General Manager of Novell EMEA. “And with the current budget constraints many organisations are experiencing, our focus is on helping IT functions to effectively leverage existing assets to enhance productivity whilst maintaining enterprise level security.”

Oliver Kreth, General Manager European Marketing Centre, Kyocera affirmed “Enterprise IT security does not end at computers and mobile devices but extends to include document solutions.  Kyocera joins the Mobile Life Tour to demonstrate top-class documents solutions effectively integrated into IT security, specifically addressing mobile print solutions.”

“Security is still possible when the world goes mobile,” said Ton Musters, VP Sales EMEA NetIQ. “As organizations are adopting mobility, they should be refining strategies to enable secure access to critical resources and sensitive data for their mobile workforce. This requires tight integration between management of mobile platforms, access controls, and security event monitoring to ultimately ensure a rapid path to secure mobile computing while limiting business risk.”

The Mobile Life Tour will visit 26 cities across 14 countries in EMEA in September and October of this year, giving a comprehensive overview on mobile IT security strategies from leading industry players. The roadshow will also feature other industry specialists SEP, Attachmate and GWAVA, kicking off in Frankfurt on 12th September and concluding in Copenhagen on 31st October.
