Over the past five years "Identity Management" has become a key service in many corporate IT environments. The ability to manage an employee's identity over a broad range of systems has become critical in securing information, maintaining access control, and reducing the operational costs for a business.

Today, organizations are looking to extend the reach of their identity management infrastructures to solve other business problems. With this in mind, Stoneware's Report Services is the first product to integrate an organization's identity management infrastructure for the purpose of building, securing, and distributing corporate reports.

Stoneware's Report Services leverages an organization's investment in Identity Management to build, secure, and distribute critical business information to the people who need it. Stoneware's Report Services has uniquely joined a user's directory service identity with an organization's backend databases to provide a complete reporting solution that will simplify the distribution of database reports, enhance database/record level security, and provide easy to use browser-based tools for report creation. The tight integration between directory services and Stoneware's Report Services will improve the dissemination of information across the organization and assist in meeting compliance regulations such as HIPPA and Sarbanes-Oxley.
