When you install and set up your Novell Teaming site, three Web services are enabled by default. A fourth is available for selection. These Web services enable programs to access information on your Teaming site just as users would. Allowing programmatic access to your Teaming site can be useful or can be viewed as a security risk.
WSS authentication: Uses OASIS Web Services Security (WSS).
HTTP Basic authentication: Uses HTTP Basic Access authentication.
Token-based authentication:
Uses custom Teaming tokens to communicate with Teaming remote applications. For more information, see Using Remote Applications on Your Teaming Site
in Site Setup
in the Novell Teaming 2.0 Administration Guide.
Anonymous access:
Allows access to your Teaming site without authentication. It is similar to the Guest access provided for users, as described in Allowing Guest Access to Your Teaming Site
in Site Setup
in the Novell Teaming 2.0 Administration Guide.
