14.1 Installing MailScanner Basic

Use the basic install when GroupWise is already installed on the same server as MailScanner.

  1. Log into the NOWS SBE console.

  2. Click Add/Remove under Components, then select All. Scroll down to Anti-Spam (MailScanner) and click Install.

  3. Click Basic, then click Next.

  4. Review the settings. To make a change, click Back. To proceed with the installation, click Next.

  5. The MailScanner basic installation is complete. Click Finish to proceed to the available software page.

MailScanner is now listed on the installed software list and can be administered from the MailScanner administration link.
