Using bundle license tracking, you can track the number of installations of the inventory products through a bundle. To enable license tracking, you must first associate an inventory product with the bundle. This is applicable only for Windows bundles.
To enable License Tracking, perform the following:
Create a bundle.
For more information on creating a bundle, see Creating Bundles.
Select the created bundle, and then click the License tab.
In the Inventory Products panel, click Add.
The Inventory Products panel displays the following information:
Name: Displays the name of the inventory product.
Installations via Bundle: Displays the number of installations through the bundle.
Inventory Installed Quantity: Click More Details to get the total number of installations. The inventory quantity is sum of bundle installations and inventory installations.
In the Select Inventory Products page, select the required inventory product, and then click OK.
After adding the inventory products, select the Enable License Tracking check box, and then click Apply.
When you publish this bundle to the managed devices, based on the bundle install status the installed quantity will be displayed in the Inventory Products panel.
