No index for DirXML matching rule attribute causing high utilization on file server.

NetWare 5.1 SP3

Attempting to import (migrate) several thousand users through DirXML delimited text driver into NDS on a NetWare server caused high utilization and import speed was only one user every 3 seconds.

Every time a user was imported into NDS, the DirXML matching rule was checking the entire attribute list on every object in the eDirectory tree for a match on WorkforceID before importing the user.

Create an index for WorkforceID on the server object where the DirXML engine is installed.  To do this, go to the properties of the server object, "indexes" tab, and add WorkforceID (or whatever attribute exists in the matching rule), and set the Rule to "Value".

NOTE:  Once this was done for this particular customer, the import speed increased to approximately 6 users per second.
