Can the IP address returned by an LDAP query be decoded?

Novell eDirectory 8.7.1

Novell eDirectory 8.6.1

The contents of the network address attribute from an LDAP query on a user are base64 encoded, and unreadable in the output file.

A perl script that demonstrates a way to decode an IP address is available from support, and will be posted as a cool solution soon.
