How to manually remove Password Syncronization 2.0

 On the machine with the Remote Loader and Password Sync Agent enabled...

1. Run REGEDT32.EXE and delete the following keys:

(a) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\p_sync


(c) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Eventlog\Password Sync

2. Reboot the machine.

On any domain controllers where the filter may have been installed:

1. Run REGEDT32.EXE and:

(a) Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\LSA, edit the Notification Packages value and remove the PWFILTER entry.

(b) Delete the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Novell\PwFilter key.

(c) Delete the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Eventlog\Password Sync key.

2. Reboot the machine.
