Situation

Applied NetWare 6.5 SP4 or NetWare 6.5 SP5 (NetWare OES SP2)
Error: The system could not log you into network. Make sure your name and connection information are correct, then type your password again.
IPX only clients unable to login into the tree when NMAS is enabled on the Client
NMAS login over IPX fail after upgrading to NetWare 6.5 SP4 or NetWare 6.5 SP5
NMAS and IPX issues

Resolution

Please download and apply the latest "Security Services" patch found at https://download.novell.com


This bug has been resolved in Security Services 2.0.2 (and greater) as well as in NetWare 6.5 SP6.
