Situation

How to stop and start the agent and zen icon service on Mac.

Resolution

Stop the ZENworks agent service:
 
launchctl unload /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.novell.zenworks.agent.plist
 
Start the ZENworks agent service:
 
launchctl load /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.novell.zenworks.agent.plist
 
Stop the ZENworks Notify Icon:
 
launchctl unload  /Library/LaunchAgents/com.novell.zenworks.zicon.plist
 
 Start the ZENworks Notify Icon:
 
launchctl load  /Library/LaunchAgents/com.novell.zenworks.zicon.plist
 

Cause

For startup options see /var/opt/novell/zenworks/xplat_startup.ini
