Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management
Situation
Some managed agent devices show in ZCC with status "Awaiting Reboot " even though they sucessfully received system update and rebooted when prompted to do so.
Resolution
In some cases the file %ZENWORKS_HOME\logs\system-update\<guid>\update_needs_reboot is still present after reboot. Normally this file is deleted upon first reboot.
After confirming that the system update is sucessful on the workstation (check system-update log ), this file can be removed manually, and the device refreshed to re-send the completed status.
