ZCM agent install fails on Windows XP with HP DriveGuard

When installing the ZCM 11.2 agent on a Windows XP device with HP DriveGuard, the install fails with the following error:
"Setup has detected an old HP DriveGuard driver that has interoperability issues with other products. Please upgrade the HPDSKFLT.SYS driver before installing."

IMPORTANT NOTE: Even with the Novell updates below, it is essential to have the correct version of HP DriveGuard: for Windows 7, version 4.2.2.1 or later, and for XP, version 1.20.5.1 or later (look for the version for the file hpdskflt.sys). Without these versions, the operating system may still crash ("Blue Screen Of Death") because of a bug in the HP DriveGuard software

This problem has a different fix in version 11.2.3a - see KB 7011295 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2.3a - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://support.microfocus.com/kb/doc.php?id=7011295 - with ZCM 11.2.3, the version of the HP driver is checked, and if less than the supported versions, the install/upgrade of 11.2.3a will take place with the ZESM drivers disabled, and ZESM policies will be blocked until the HP software is upgraded to a supported version.

For ZCM 11.2.1: This is fixed in version 11.2.2 - see KB 7010757 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2.2 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://support.microfocus.com/kb/doc.php?id=7010757

Workaround: if it is not possible to upgrade to ZCM 11.2.2 at this time, in the interim, Novell has made a Patch available for testing, as part of a Monthly patch update: it can be obtained at https://download.novell.com/Download?buildid=t9vbJXG-P0g~ as "ZCM 11.2.1 Monthly Update 1 - see TID 7010464". This update should only be applied if the symptoms above are being experienced, and are causing problems.
