Novell Open Workgroup Suite SBE 2.5
Situation
When opening the Web-Management-UI on Novell Open Workgroup Suite SBE ("simba"), the update-applet keeps showing the spinning wheel and doesn't refresh.
Resolution
While downloading new patch information and updating the RSS feed, these files are created:
If the spinning wheel issue occurs, it is likely that there are leftovers from a previous instance. Please remove these files:
Then, restart the simba daemon:
and re-login to the web-frontend.
/var/lib/simba/sbs/conf/checking.txt
/var/lib/simba/sbs/conf/checking_rss.txt
/var/lib/simba/sbs/conf/checking_rss.txt
