Microsoft's Sysprep fails after installing IR6 for Novell Client 2 with "The domain name is not valid" error

Novell Client 2 for Windows 7 (IR6)
Microsoft Windows 7

Situation

After installing the IR6 update for the Novell Client 2 for Windows 7, the error, "The domain name is not valid" is returned during reboot/login.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in Novell Client 2 SP1 for Windows (IR8) or later.
