Starting the first sentence in message with a month name adds an additional space

When the user begins a sentence with the name of a month, and then goes to the start of the sentence and hits the space bar, the cursor and the space(s) are inserted to the right of the month name.  This only happens when composing a message in HTML.  Composing in Plain Text works fine.

This has been reported to engineering.  The workaround is to uncheck the QuickCorret option to "Replace Words as You Type"

This happens for any words that are in the quick correct list.  It's a known issue.  The months and days of the week are in the quick correct list so that the first letter of the word will automatically be upper case.

This doesn't happen for either March or May.
