Novell ZENworks 11 Configuration Management Support Pack 1 - ZCM 11 SP1

Situation

Double click on desktop ZENworks icons may generate an error:
 
ERROR:
 
C:\Program The specified module could not be found.

Resolution

This is fixed in version 11.2 - see KB 7010044 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

Workaround:
Ensure correct " in the following registry key:
 
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\NalLinkFile\shell\Open\Command]
@="rundll32 \"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Novell\\ZENworks\\bin\\NalShell.dll\",NalExplorerExecuteShortcut %1"
 

Cause

The API call being used for imaging required that shortname (8.3) support was enabled for the drive.
