Unable to change Sent Items behavior in any language but English

Environment

Novell GroupWise 2012

Situation

Currently in Tools -> Options -> Environment -> Default Actions the Sent Items behavior is set to Show Properties for all languages.  If, in any language but English, you go to change this to be Open Item instead it will not take effect. 

Resolution

This has been reported to engineering.
 
The current workaround is to launch the GroupWise client in English, make the change and apply it.  Then change the client to the language you want to use and relaunch.
 

Additional Information

A customer reported workaround is to also make the folllowing change to the registry:
     HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Novell\GroupWise\Client\Setup 'Outbox DoubleClick'=dword:00000001 = Display item
     HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Novell\GroupWise\Client\Setup 'Outbox DoubleClick'=dword:00000000 = Display properties
