If Mobility Pack 1.2.5 or later is installed, this issue should not be seen. At the time of writing this TID Mobility Pack 1.2.5 has not been publicly released.
Workaround Steps
Follow these steps only if Mobility Pack 1.2.4 is installed
  1. Type cat /opt/novell/datasync/version to make sure that the output is
  2. Browse to /opt/novell/datasync/syncengine/connectors/groupwise/lib and rename gwconnectorlogic.pyc to gwconnectorlogic.orig.
  3. Download and extract gwconnectorlogic.pyc from
  4. Copy the extracted gwconnectorlogic.pyc to /opt/novell/datasync/syncengine/connectors/groupwise/lib.
  5. Type "rcdatasync restart" and press Enter.

Steps to Duplicate:
  1. Send an email to a user with the following subject.
  2. This email will show up fine on the Device.
  3. Now using GroupWise Client, "Forward as attachment" the above email to an other user or the same user.
  4. The email that was sent in step 3 will show up on the Device without the attachment.
