Environment

Novell Data Synchronizer Mobility Pack

Situation

No emails/calendars or contacts show up on some new devices like Motorola Electrify M
Folder Structure Syncs but no emails or calendars or contacts sync to the device

Resolution

Please install Novell Data Synchronizer Mobility Pack 1.2.5 or later. At the time of writing this TID, Mobility Pack 1.2.5 has not been publicly released.
 
Workaround Steps
Follow these steps only if Mobility Pack 1.2.4 is installed 
  1. Type cat /opt/novell/datasync/version to make sure that the output is 1.2.4.966.
  2. Browse to /opt/novell/datasync/syncengine/connectors/mobility/lib/device and rename sync.pyc to sync.orig.
  3. Download and extract sync.pyc from
    ftp://ftp.novell.com/outgoing/792516.zip
  4. Copy the extracted sync.pyc to /opt/novell/datasync/syncengine/connectors/mobility/lib/device.
  5. Restart DataSync by typing "rcdatasync restart" and press Enter.
