Executing csmport gives the following error "Container is NOT accessible, flag=2"

Environment

Novell Open Enterprise Server 11 (OES 11) Linux Support Pack 1
Novell Cluster Services 1.8.4
Cluster Management Services (CMS) containers for using ext3 volumes

Situation

OES2 Novell Cluster Services cluster, using ext3 volumes and CSM containers were migrated to OES11.
The results of /opt/novell/ncs/bin/csmport -i grpwise :
      Container is NOT accessible, flag=2
      Container is NOT accessible, flag=2
      Container name ='backup' on disk.
      Container is accessible (4).
      Container name ='iprint' on disk.
      Container is accessible (4).
      Container name ='dhcp' on disk.
      Container is accessible (4).
      Container name ='grpwise' on disk.
      Container name ='backup' on disk.
      Container is accessible (4).
      Container name ='dhcp' on disk.
      Container is accessible (4).
      Container name ='iprint' on disk.
      Container is accessible (4).
      Container name ='grpwise' on disk.

Resolution

This problem required a dial-in to edit a flag in the grpwise CSM container header from 02h (Private) to 04h (Accessible).

Cause

Each CSM container contains a flag that indicates whether or not it is accessible for OES11 nodes.  In a mixed-node OES2 / OES11 cluster, the documentation states that load and unload script changes are required for CSM hosted resources to be migrated to OES11 nodes, and that once the script changes have been made, that the resource should be prevented from rolling back to an OES2 node by use of the Preferred Node List.  More information about CSM and migrating CSM resources to OES11 is available at the following urls:
